In 2022, a classmate and I represented the San Jose Learning Center for the 2022 Korea UCC (User Created Contents) Contest.
This nationwide contest is hosted by The Korean Education Center in San Francisco is intended to promote learning Korean language (regardless of age) both inside and outside the classroom throughout the United States.
Our video submission “나는 왜 한국어를 공부하는가?” (Why Do I Study Korean?), which I co-wrote, was a top 10 finalist in the Adult + University Course Division.
The Korean Education Center in San Francisco was established by the Ministry of Education of Korea in 1987, so being given an award from such a prestigious organization is a huge honor.
